Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. Since her teenage years the singer is a part of popular flamenco and music. Her music also strays into different genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Her voice is said by no less a talent than flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, and with a bite that is similar to the old ones. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success making it to the top of the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually getting the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with numerous artists such as Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The album was released in the month of March 2022, following the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to appear solo on the show. In addition to winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
