Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress who is best famous for her role in Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. In the 80s when she started her acting career. She became popular with the role of Tezaab, in which she starred with the veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Her subsequent appearance on screen was Dil alongside Aamir. She was born into an Mumbai middle class family and began dancing when she was a child. She began acting when she was a youngster and struggled for several years because the majority of her first film projects were unsuccessful. However, she eventually achieved success and became one of the top actors in the Indian film industry. Her marriage led to a pause in her career. She returned later. Recently, she had an important character in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the struggles of women in India. Dixit has been nominated for the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she won eight. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit, India's fourth highest civil honor. She is also acknowledged for her work in the field of charity.
